Indian-American kabaddi coach was recently injured after being attacked by unidentified miscreants in Katani Kalan, near Ludhiana in Punjab.

Indian-American, Gurpreet Singh, also working as the coach of the international kabaddi team in the US was recently injured after being attacked by unidentified miscreants in Katani Kalan, near Ludhiana in Punjab.

The victim has come to visit his in-laws, and was to return on 6th April for the kabaddi cup. He went to drop his son to a playground, when his bike developed a fault. It was then a few men attacked him with sharp-edged weapons as he was getting his two-wheeler repaired.

Surjeet Singh, SHO Koom Kalan said that the matter had been brought to notice, but the coach is yet to record the statement. Singh went to the primary hospital health in Koom Kalan from where the doctor referred him to the city civil hospital after first aid.
