The Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is trending big time on Twitter after he compared Virat Kohli with Joe Root, following which Amitabh Bachchan gave him a fitting reply.
Soon after team India won the match against Australia, there were loads of reactions from the cricketing experts, cricketers and fans. However, former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff actually gets it all wrong – he compared Virat Kohli to Joe Root on Twitter.
This sarcastic tweet of Flintoff made the mega star Amitabh Bachchan angry, remember he is the Original Angry Young Man of the Bollywood. Big B replied saying in Hindi, “Who is Root, we will uproot Root”.
Flintoff decided to go a little further and replied on Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet: ‘Sorry who's this?’
Well, well, well! We all know Indians would not take that for Mr Bachchan. While the Bollywood legend posted no more tweets to Flintoff, a fan, who runs Ravindra Jadeja's parody account on Twitter (@SirJadeja), was quick to respond, and here’s what he tweeted, and finished off in style – “Beta @flintoff11, Rishtey Me To Wo Tumhare Baap Lagtey Hain, Naam Hai Shahenshaah". ;) @SrBachchan #IndvsAus
It was just the other day, when Virat Kohli’s one man show of 82 runs led team India to qualify for Semi-final in ICC WT20. Chasing 161, team India seemed the score was quite difficult until the 15 overs. Like most of the times, Kohli paced his innings brilliantly and hit some boundaries and sixes in last five over’s to keep team India close to the target.
In short, Virat Kohli, the God of Cricket 2.0, is nothing less than a genius. But it seems some people weren’t impressed.
Flintoff, who was also criticized by several Indian fans for trolling Amitabh Bachchan, later said that people don't get the tongue-in-cheek humour.
Whatever the case may be, Big B’s reply to Andrew Flintoff’s sarcastic tweet on Virat Kohli was nothing less than an EPIC.
