The Delhi chief minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has accepted an invitation to attend the 2017 Karachi Literature Festival (KLF). He was invited by KLF?founder Ms. Ameena Saiyid during an event ‘The Coalition Conference’ held at New Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium.
The Karachi Literature Festival is jointly organised by the Oxford University Press, Pakistan, and the British Council. The festival has book launches, book signings and book fair for the visitors. Ms. Saiyid later said she would also send an official invitation for KLF-2017, which is jointly organised by Oxford University Press, Pakistan, and the British Council. The event, first-of-a-kind in Pakistan, has been a resounding success since its launch in March 2010.
Earlier, the veteran Bollywood actor and the ruling party supporter Anupam Kher, who was to attend the KLF?on February 5 this year, had claimed that he had been denied visa by Pakistan.
