NRI Industrialist GP Hinduja has predicted that India is on the track of becoming the 3rd largest economy in the world. He gives the complete credit for the growth to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives.
Hinduja said that India currently holds the fourth position in public private partnerships and if things go as planned by Modi it will soon become the third largest economy.
Hinduja further appreciated Modi by saying that he has a lot of energy and has been great in building international relationships. “He comes up with new ideas and concepts everyday. He has taken initiatives on all those areas that are important for a business to grow. It is not easy because of the old legacy, beliefs and culture and a democratic system to follow.
When asked to compare between Indian and Chinese market, he said that being a businessman, he can't compare between the two. He further commented that the Chinese market grew very fast as it did not have a democratic base but it is very difficult for them to sustain the growth.
