The Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, (also popularly known as Ash), looked every bit the traditional Indian beauty as she exchanged pleasantries with the French President Francois Hollande at a lunch hosted by the French ambassador to India, Francois Richier, on Tuesday (26th January), the Republic day in Delhi. The French President Hollande is on a three-day visit to India and is the Chief Guest at the 67th Republic Day celebrations.
Ash conversation with president Hollande reportedly ranged from talking about movies to her experiences at Cannes. She is a regular at the Cannes Film Festival and is also a recipient of the 'Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters', the second highest French civilian honour.
The gorgeous bollywood actress was the only Bollywood actor to be present during the lunch; she was ravishing in a red Banarasi sari with pink embellishments, polki jewellery and roses accessorising her look. Other guests at the lunch included designers Ritu Beri, a recepient of the French government's Chevalier Des Arts et Des Lettres award and Manish Arora, who shares a deep connect with Paris.
