An Indian-origin software system in UK has developed a unique electronic lock system, which allows the creation and management of keys and locks that cannot be copied or picked. He has been awarded for his innovation.

Nandagopal Lakshminarayanan, an Indian-origin software engineer has won the Business Leader of the Future award at Innovate UKs Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Best of the Best Awards 2015, a prestigious award in the UK, for creating an innovative electronic smart key system.

The system enables the creation and management of keys and locks that cannot be copied or picked. The software for the electronic locking system, called eLOQ, has been created jointly by the University of Lincolns School of Computer Science and Lincoln Security under the KTP.

Mr. Lakshminarayanan has studied in India and Singapore and originally hails from the Southern state of Tamil Nadu.
