A Bangalore-born US-residing surgeon Dr. Thomas Rajan was awarded the title of 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year for 2015' by Sanctuary Asia. Selected from nationwide entries in the US, the photograph which won him the accolade is named as ‘Jungle Blur’, and is captioned as 'With little more than a smattering of her rosettes in focus, a leopardess Pantherapardusfusca streaks down a tree in the twilight forests of Kabini, Nagarhole National Park, in Mysuru, Karnataka, India.
