Recently, the Dubai-based Yogesh Mehta splurged out over a billion rupees on his only son's Rohan’s wedding.

Dubai-based Indian millionaire Yogesh Mehta's only son Rohan Mehta tied recently the knot with London-born Roshni in a three-day-long destination wedding celebrated in Italy. 

Mr. Mehta is listed as one of the top 50 richest Indians in the Gulf Council countries (GCC) in 2015 and is estimated to have amassed wealth of $533 million through his petrochemical company, the Petrochem. He is also one of the largest independent petrochemicals distributors in the Middle East.

His only son and the groom, Rohan joined the family business in recent years and is expected to take on a larger role in the coming years. He also owns the Raging Tiger events company that organizes concerts and balls across the UAE. British born and brought up bride Roshni owns a fashion company in UK. 

He took on twitter earlier this month to announce the wedding ‘Our son Rohan will marry his sweetheart Roshni on 27 November 2015 in Florence, Italy. A magical RORO wedding!'

The three day extravaganza began on Nov 25 had around 500 guests flew from all over the world to Renaissance city of Florence and stayed in the finest hotels across the city. From the humongous feasts and elaborate flower arrangements to crystal chandeliers and jaw-droopingly stunning fireworks, no expense was spared to make the wedding memorable for guests. DJ Zubair, singer Sukhbir Singh and Natalie Di Luccio all graced the stage for the newly-weds. The newly-weds are expected to settle in Dubai.

The colourful and the glittery wedding had women adorning bright traditional Indian dresses and jewellery. The beautiful bride was adorned in several traditional attires and jewellery, looked splendid throughout the celebrations. The couple looked joyful and enjoyed the celebrations with family and friends.
