The UK-based NRI business giants, the Hinduja Brothers were recently honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Asian Business Leadership Forum (ABLF) Series, which recognizes the most powerful and influential business leaders."It is a matter of great honour for us to receive this Lifetime Achievement Award at such an august gathering. On behalf of my brothers, SP Hinduja, PP Hinduja and AP Hinduja, I accept this award in all humility," said Gopichand Hinduja, on receiving the award. He added that every award is a responsibility, and inspires and energizes us to continue ahead.
Mr. Gopichand added that "this award would be most dear to our hearts. We began our global journey from this part of the world and therefore it would not be wrong to say that roots of our success are enshrined here and they continue to grow stronger here.” Mr. Hinduja also attributed the key business values of the late founder of the Hinduja Group, Mr. Parmanand Deepchand (PD) Hinduja, such as - Work To Give, Word is a Bond and Partnership for Growth, which resonates in the present business ethics of the region, responsible for the success. Srichand Hinduja and his brother Gopichand moved to London in 1979 to develop the export business; while the other brothers Prakash manages the group's finances in Geneva, Switzerland while the youngest brother, Ashok, oversees the Indian interests.
The ceremony was held at the Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai where the awards were hosted under the Royal Patronage. Some of Asia’s most influential leaders’ proactive private enterprises, policy-makers, economists, investors, diplomats, entrepreneurs, etc. attended the award ceremony.
