The UK-based NRI journalist received the honour for his contribution to the cricket journalism

Mihir Bose, a UK-based NRI journalist, received the Lifetime Achievement award for his contribution to the cricket journalism. Mr. Bose received the award in a ceremony organised by the Asian Cricket Awardsat Lords Ground in London.

Mr. Bose is a writer and a broadcaster and has written for nearly all the leading British Newspapers including the BBC, Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, Financial Times and London Evening Standard. Some of his famous books include ‘The Spirit of the Game: How Sport Made the Modern World’ and ‘A history of Indian Cricket’. Mr. Bose is also known for working as the first sports editor in BBC, and worked till August 2009.
