Indian star cricketer, Yuvraj Singh, is all eager to play the next T20 WC and is also keen to lift the Indian team out of its current woes.
Although Yuvraj has recently found himself out of the one-day side following India's tour of South Africa in the present season. It has also been over six months since Yuvraj Singh turned out for India and he perhaps also accepts that his one day career is over, but he remains hopeful of making a comeback and playing in the T 20 World Cup next year.
Former chairman of selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Kiran More hails Yuvraj as a match-winner. He says, ”From the day he started playing for India, he has been a match-winner and I am sure it will continue to be that way till he plays competitive cricket. He's gone through a lot in recent times but there's still a lot of cricket left in him".
Yuvraj has been in and out of the side since his battling cancer in 2012.
Importantly, Yuvraj Singh is well remembered for hitting Stuart Broad for SIX SIXES IN AN OVER against England Twenty20 World Cup in 2007. Yuvraj Singh has been one of the key contributors in several T20 and ODI WC victories. He has several other unforgettable contributions to the Indian ODI and T20 history as well.
The next ICC world Twenty20 tournament starts in India from March 11th next year. The 2016 ICC World Twenty20 will be the sixth ICC World Twenty20 tournament.
