The boat is not scared by the waves ...Those who try do not lose
These lines of poem written by poet Sohan Lal Dwivedi fit perfectly on Tejaswini Singh, who lives in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Tejaswini Singh, 28, who originally hails from a very small town Deoria, is currently a business woman and freelance journalist by profession, but today she is known as Mrs. India International. Tejaswini is multi-talented - she is an MBA in marketing; did her MA in psychology too and side by side did courses in Advertising, Journalism and Public relations. She has written numerous articles for both online and print media. Her stories get regularly featured in ‘Anokhi’ a fortnightly publication by the lcals Hindi business daily - Hindustan Media Ventures. She has also worked with other business dailies including the Amar Ujala, Inext and other media houses and was creative head in one of the Known AD agencies. However, unfortunately her corporate career came to a halt when her dad was detected of 4th grade tumour in 2010. Cancer shook the entire family and her father was totally bed ridden for quite some time, expiring soon. Being the eldest sibling, she took charge of things. It has been challenging both at personal and professional fronts but she is tough when it comes to handling challenges of life and it’s by resolving her own health issues she created her product line. Tejaswini was only 23, when she started going the organic way. She is currently MD of Organic Greens. She made some chemical free skin treatment products out of waste organic materials. After that she re-worked on the products and converted these products in a brand Organic Greens creating over 70 herbal products being very creative and experimental by nature since early childhood. She further wants to experiment and produce low cost new generation herbal product and her main motive is to work on chemical free treatments. She believes “where there is a will there is a way”.
In early 2018, Tejaswini took part in the competition of Mrs. India International, in Singapore, where she won the title. Importantly, Mrs. India International is a great platform for all the Indian married women to show off their good grooming, intelligence and their chiseled looks. Now she will participate in Mrs. Global World South Africa 2018, the Finals will be on 23rd September and she will be competing against participants of 25 countries. Traditionally, during the final on pageant night, the top 12 finalists are reduced to five, from which a second princess is announced, followed by a first princess and then the winner. Let us wish this beautiful lady, with brain and substance all the BEST!!!!
