Indians around the world keep bringing glory to our nation time and again. Rajgauri Pawar, a 12-year-old scored 162 points on the British Mensa IQ test. Doing so, she beat the scores of geniuses Einstein and Hawking by 2 points. It is the highest score to be achieved till date by someone under the age of 18.
This Indian-origin girl in England, who secured two points higher than geniuses Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking in the British Mensa IQ test, has been invited to join the coveted society as a member.
She studies at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, which also expressed pride at her achievement. Conveying her joy and excitement over the achievement, Ms. Pawar says “I am just feeling on top of the world; I can’t explain it in words. It’s an honor for me to represent India on foreign soil and achieve such a feat”.
Importantly, Ms. Pawar is one of the 20,000 people to have achieved the score worldwide. She is among the one percent of those who appear for the Mensa test and score the highest marks, with the ‘GENIUS’ benchmark set at 140.
