The growth of excess facial hair is due to a hormonal condition called polycystic ovary syndrome. According to the 2017 edition teams of Guinness World Records, this publicity will fascinate, entertain and educate all knowledge-hunters.

Ms. Harnaam Kaur hails from Slough in Berkshire in south-east England. The lady has learned to embrace her beard, after being diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome.  Infact, she was the first female with a beard to walk the runway at London Fashion Week during March, 2016. She has also been the model for Urban Bridesmaid Photography and also made her debut on the catwalk by wearing her traditional Sikh turban, a navy dress and black heels on the inaugural of the Marianna Harutunian Royal Fashion Day.

Ms Harnaam Kaur is startled to be valued and celebrated as a Bearded Lady.  She describes herself on social media as - Bearded Dame, Body Confidence Activist, Anti Bully Activist, Plus size Model. She dresses in a Sikh turban. She hopes this will assist in imparting an empowering message with positivity and inspiration to everyone.
