After ruling the cricket ground, Dwayne Bravo became an overnight singing sensation with his hit number Champion. The West Indies cricketer-singer is now all set to make his singing debut in a Bollywood movie.
Anubhav Sinha, director of hit film Tum Bin, is making a sequel to the film - titled Tum Bin 2, the film will star Aditya Seal, Aashim Gulati and Neha Sharma in the lead. An interesting development surrounding the film is that Sinha, who is co-producing the movie with T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, has taken in West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo to sing a song for the film.
Bravo got famous as a singer with his popular song Champion. In Tum Bin 2, he will be singing a fast-paced number called ‘Jager Bomb’. The song has been composed by Ankit Tiwari. Dancers are reportedly being flown in from Romania for the song, which will either be shot in a club or a recreated club in a studio. Dwayne will also learn a few Hindi lines for the song.
“Bollywood is the second largest industry after cricket (in India), so I guess it’s a great way to reach out to the masses…You don’t need to be an actor or an actress to really belong to Bollywood now. It’s similar to how actors and musicians are now playing in celebrity cricket leagues and exploring their adventurous streak”, said Bravo.
