NRI businessman along with his friend died in a jet–ski accident. Realtor builder Salinder Burmy and Ramanjit Bachra were spotted by a commercial vessel captain. Emergency workers were called to the shores of the Fraser river once the two men were seen.The Richmond Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed that two men were pulled from the water and were later declared dead. Both the men had head injuries and were found floating in the water near a jet-ski.

Burmy’s social networking profiles list him as the president and CEO at Presido Land Development Corp. Land assembly, land development, investments and project marketing came under his business categories.

Burmy also did philanthropy work and supported education, human rights and poverty alleviation.
