This, after news started trickling in that employees from several companies were planning to go on mass leave to catch the first day first show of their favourite star’s film. Even, some employers have not only declared a holiday on the day the movie releases, but also booked tickets for employees. Watching the first-day first-show is not something that can be compromised on, think a majority of fans!
Big brand endorsements have also been latching onto Kabali fever. Corporates such as Air Asia and Airtel have jumped onto the Kabali bandwagon while radio FM stations are pitching in feverishly, offering free tickets for an SMS from a listener.
Kabali is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language gangster film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. It is his 159th film in which he is playing character of a gangster. The movie sees Rajnikanth playing the role of a man close to his age, he will portray the role of an ageing don with Radhika Apte plays the role of his wife. This highly anticipated crime thriller has Kalaiarasan, Dhansikaa, Dinesh and Ritwik, as supporting cast.
