Acknowledging the demographic dividend her opponent Bernie Sanders has reaped from the youth, Hillary Clinton’s campaign has moved swiftly to hire an Indian-origin key student organiser for her campaign.
Hillary Clinton's campaign is expanding its efforts to appeal to millennial voters with a spate of new hires, including Bernie Sanders' national director of student organizing, Kunoor Ojha.
Kunoor Ojha, an Indian-origin youth activist from Illinois, is her first major hire from the Sanders campaign. He has plenty of experience having worked as a field director for political campaigns tasked with organising volunteers and ensuring Election Day turn out. Ojha who began her political activism as a field organiser on ‘Obama for American’ campaign in 2011, had worked in various state level campaigns before joining the Sanders bandwagon in 2015.
Recently the US President Obama has also endorsed his former secretary of state Hillary Clinton candidature.
