India’s dashing batsman and the Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, Virat Kohli recently went past his teammate Chris Gayle’s record of scoring the most runs in a single IPL season, also became the first player in the history of the Indian Premier League to smash 4 centuries in one edition, added another feather to his feat.
Virat Kohli has breached 900-run mark in an IPL season, the 27-year-old achieved the feat during Royal Challengers Bangalore's six-wicket win over Delhi Daredevils in Raipur. Earlier, in the tournament, Kohli broke surpassed Gayle’s record of 733 runs for RCB in 15 matches during the 2012 edition. Gayle took 15 games to score that many runs in 2012, while Kohli needed 12 games to go past.
Kohli has been in scintillating form for the past few years, in all forms of cricket including the IPL.
