The movie is an action packed love drama, where the actress is kidnapped by the villain in the beginning of the movie, and the hero is called by the father of the girl to save her daughter. The movie shifts from picturesque Kerala where the couple had met to high rises of Bangkok.
Tiger Shroff, as Ronny impresses with his swift moves, unbelievable action sequences (he balances himself on finger and thumb in one of the scenes!!) enough to make female population drool over him. Tiger is a treat to watch in the scenes where he trains himself in ancient art of ‘kalaripayattu’ where the director has made sure to get the best shots of his physique.
However when it comes to emoting the scenes he lacks the enigma and comes out as plain at times.
Shradha Kapoor eyes lighten up the screen with her presence; she has danced well in rain mostly and also kicked some baddies with equal ease. Shraddha looks luminous in every frame and takes us by surprise when she slays professional fighters. She still misses to pull up audiences in a scene with her expressions in an emotional sequence.
The antagonist Raghav, the martial arts champion played by Sudheer Babu is a perfect match in physique to Tiger Shroff. Sunil Grover who plays Shradha’s dad in the movie is able to pull off few laughs from the audience.
The movie blooms only during the fights but by the time the clock ticks towards the climax, the movie become somewhat dull. However, truly it will be able to pull up youngsters for the action; credit goes to the two newly talented actors. The film was released worldwide on 29th April, 2016. The movie is made on a budget of Rs. 350 million and has earned over Rs. 1.20 billion worldwide, till the financials were made public the last time. The film is directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
